CRAFTSMANSHIP
PORCELAIN - TABLEWARE
Craftsmanship is an essential element in the creation of high-quality porcelain ceramic tableware as it is a delicate material to work with requiring a high degree of skill and precision to shape, mold, and fire. It begins with the selection of the finest raw materials including high-quality clays, feldspars and other minerals which are then carefully blended to create a uniform and consistent body that can be molded into our tableware.
FINISHING & GLAZE
At Don Bellini, each of our collections is unique in its own nature. With different types of finishing, whether it is raw, matte, or glazed. Once the ceramic body is finished with the first firing process, it may be coated with a glaze for the second firing process which fuses the glaze to the ceramic body, which is what gives the product a beautiful,
high-quality finish.
HIGH TEMPERATURE FIRING
Our porcelain ceramics are fired in a kiln at 1300 degrees Celsius, temperatures carefully controlled to transform the raw materials into a strong, durable product, able to withstand the rigors of everyday use and meets hotel grade quality standards.
Our cutlery is mainly crafted from 304 stainless steel, a high-quality corrosion-resistant material that contains high levels of chromium and nickel, a popular choice for home and commercial use.
We offer various types of surface treatments including stone washing, matte finishing, and PVD coating on all of our cutlery products. Our PVD coatings are completely non-toxic and hypoallergenic making them suitable for use in the food sector.
All our cutlery undergoes a rigorous quality control process to ensure that all the cutlery meets our standards for quality, durability, and appearance before it is packed and shipped.
